OUR CAMP STAFF

Our camps were initially designed by Helen Zdriluk, who developed the award-winning music theatre program at Burlington Central High School.  She was the founding artistic director for Centre Stage Productions and has conducted workshops internationally for both students and adults.  In addition to completing a music theatre internship at the Shaw Festival, Helen taught drama and music theatre at Centre Stage Theatre School, drama in education and children’s theatre at Brock University, and collaborative practices at Sheridan College.

Camp counsellors are college/university-aged graduates of Centre Stage Theatre School/Production, who have had several years of experience leading camps.

Teaching assistants are selected high school and/or university students affiliated with Centre Stage Theatre School.

Each group will have a counsellor and at least one teaching assistant.

All staff are trained in camp procedures and safety policies.
