Elementary Music Theatre Production - Grades 1-2

Wednesdays 6:15 -7:15 pm
$77.50 + HST per month

Perform at the CENTRE STAGE Studio Theatre in our ELEMENTARY MUSIC THEATRE MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION in spring 2025!
 

Classes in elementary musical theatre include movement, choral work, character work, and improvisation. Goals are to nurture each student’s imagination, develop theatre skills, boost self-esteem and enable students to perform with their peers in a safe and supportive environment. Self-expression, confidence, sharing, teamwork and communication will be developed through building theatre structures and skills.

The musical to be performed for our spring show will be selected in September.

Classes in junior musical theatre include movement, choral work, character work, and improvisation. Goals are to nurture each student’s imagination, develop theatre skills, boost self-esteem and enable students to perform with their peers in a safe and supportive environment. JUNIOR-INTERMEDIATE MUSIC THEATRE PRODUCTION - Grades 4-5

Tuesdays 5:30-6:45 p.m.
$92.75 + HST per month

Junior-Intermediate musical theatre classes include movement, choral work, character work, and improvisation. Goals are to nurture each student’s imagination, develop theatre skills, boost self-esteem and enable students to perform with their peers in a safe and supportive environment. Self-expression, confidence, sharing, teamwork and communication will be developed through building theatre structures and skills.

Intermediate Music Theatre Production – Grades 6-8

Mondays 7:15-8:30 p.m.
$92.75 + HST per month

Perform at the CENTRE STAGE Studio Theatre in our INTERMEDIATE MUSIC THEATRE MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION in spring 2025!

Classes in intermediate musical theatre include: character development, vocal instruction, stage movement, acting techniques, musical theatre scene study, and theatre dance. Students work with characters and musical numbers chosen to build their skills and to stretch their ability to work as performers in solo, small group and ensemble situations.

The musical to be performed for our spring show will be selected in September.

Classes in musical theatre include: acting techniques, character development, voice instruction, musical theatre scene study, and stage movement. Develop your ability to sing, dance and act both as a solo performer and as a member of an ensemble in a variety of musical theatre styles. Students in the Senior Music Theatre Production class will have the opportunity to take part in the Centre Stage Theatre Productions Mainstage spring show.

The musical to be performed for our spring show will be selected in September. THIS CLASS INCLUDES INDIVIDUAL AND SMALL GROUP TUTORING.

Classes include: character development, vocal instruction, stage movement, acting techniques, musical theatre scene study, and theatre dance. Students work with characters and musical numbers chosen to build their skills and to stretch their ability to work as performers in solo, small group and ensemble situations.
