Update: Summer Camps 2020
Given the current guidelines from the province, we believe we will be able to go ahead with in-person camps for four weeks this summer, albeit in modified form.
Our current plan is for camps to meet in groups of no more than 5-9 children per location, with one camp leader and, if numbers allow, a volunteer. We will endeavour to maintain physical distancing requirements during the day, and will require a brief wellness form to be completed for each camper, along with a temperature check, each day before arrival. We also will not have a live performance at the end of each camp week, but will instead explore opportunities to video record the production campers will put together. Additional details about expectations and requirements will be forthcoming.
The camps will run:
Week of July 13
Week of July 20
Week of July 27; and
Week of August 10th.
Registration is available on the website and will be on a first come first serve basis as we may have to cap some weeks if the numbers get too close to capacity.
Please note that we will be continuing to monitor the situation, and may need to further adjust this plan as things evolve. If any further changes become necessary, we will let you know ASAP. In the interim, do feel free to get in touch with any questions you have.
Update: Summer Camps 2020
At this point we are waiting for direction from the government as to whether in person camps can be offered this summer. We are hopeful they can be! If in person camps are permitted, we will run them with modifications to address the most current safety recommendations.
Please stay tuned!
Burlington Performing Arts Centre (BPAC) Performance Cancelled for 2020
Hi folks,
Unfortunately we have just heard from BPAC that they will remain closed until June 30, 2020. Sadly, that means that our show on April 8, 2020 is cancelled. If you have already purchased tickets, we understand that you can receive a refund for the same through the BPAC box office.
Looking forward to an even bigger and better show next year!

Covid 19 UPDATE
In light of recent developments with COVID 19, we've made the difficult decision to suspend all face-to-face classes at Centre Stage until Monday, April 6. We are planning the resumption of classes on April 6 and will also be adding extra make up classes in the months of April and May. In the interim, we ask that you (/your children) continue to prepare for our end of year performances by practicing/memorizing your lines, and rehearsing scenes/songs we've completed to date. [Only for relevant classes: We'll also be uploading practice music for new songs to the Google Classroom, and would ask that you review those songs during this break so we can make the most of our time once we're back].
As for the Creative Acts Show in April, we are working under the advisement of BPAC and they have informed us that the show will go on, however things can change and full refunds will be offered if they do cancel.
While we're disappointed that we won't see you for the next couple of weeks, we trust that you understand this decision and look forward to getting back together soon. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to be in touch.

Centre Stage Productions annual BPAC show ‘Creative Acts’ is April 8th at 7pm.
Tickets will be available through the BPAC box office.
This gives all the students a chance to see what it is like to perform on a large professional stage. They will also be having a 1 hour rehearsal on Tuesday 7th for 1 hour each class (times to be determined). Tickets will be going on sale on Monday March 2. Tickets are only available through the BPAC box office or on their website https://burlingtonpac.ca/events/creative-acts/
Tickets are $29 all inclusive and are general admission. When you order your tickets, the name of the show is "Creative Acts" Do not ask for the Centre Stage show as they won't know what that means.
I hope that you and your families will attend as we need to sell a lot of tickets to break even.
thanks,
Jerry
