FILM AND TELEVISION: ACTING FOR THE CAMERA
For ages 11-16 and 17+
Learn vocal and movement techniques used in film acting and use commercial, tv, and film scripts to build camera skills!  Classes have an emphasis on character study and process in an atmospere of safety and exploration.  Actors will work on various exercises, scenes and put their work into practice on-camera.

Areas covered will include:

Acting for the cameral with genuineness and confidence

Developing focus and taking direction

Characterization

The casting process

Preparation for auditions.

By the end of the course, students will be able to deliver memorized auditions and scenes, and will have their work recorded on dvd.

Intermediate Film: Ages 11-16.  Fridays  4:20-6:20.   Classes begin Fri. Oct 5  to May 31/ 2013.  There are no classes Dec. 21, Dec 28, Jan 4, and Mar 15.

Cost:  $120 + HST  per month

Adult Film:  Ages  17 +.   Fridays  6:30-9:30.   Classes begin Fri. Oct 5  to May 31/ 2013.  There are no classes Dec. 21, Dec 28, Jan 4, and Mar 15.  Ages 17+ 

Cost: $180.00 + HST per month
